President Bush was on TV this morning officiating a news conference. One thing he said in reference to our policy of “protection” of the U.S. against the enemy was that he is basically a protectionist.

As a result, he believes that as we protect our country, it will afford us the liberty from the enemy, thus providing peace.

Regardless of whether or not you or I agree with our President and the policy of the U.S., I thought that the statement in itself pertained to our businesses as well.

Once you liberate yourself from the confines of offline techniques (the enemy) and the failures that are consistent with those methods, and realize that our world just doesn’t operate like it used to in the past, you will find yourself in a state of peace as it relates to freeing your MLM business through the ultimate tool, the internet.

See, it’s not the company causing you strife. It’s the marketing or the lack of marketing strategies that are taught.

I just bought and read an eBook on marketing your business on MySpace! I couldn’t believe what I was reading. This eBook spilled all the beans on how to market to the masses on MySpace.

I never thought of this tool as something legitimate entrepreneurs would use. But how wrong I was.

So, today I am starting this FREE campaign to see how many leads I can get in the next week or so.

Today I sent my subscriber base an AUDIO NEWSLETTER as opposed to the regular emails I send. I wanted to try this form of contact to weigh it against something more traditional. I am excited to see what the results bring in!

Well the day has come for me to share some vital information with you…my 30-day status report of me using The Power Prospecting System as a funded proposal. So here are the results:

* Start date: 3/22/08
* Test End Date: 4/22/08, 2pm CST
* Strategies used: Article Marketing and Pay-per-Click
* 16 Articles were written
* PPC started actually 4/2/08
* Total number of clicks to my site: 868
* Total number of leads: 88 (10.13% conversion rate from visitors to leads)
* 3 book sales and 2 memberships sold (5.6% conversion rate from leads to sales)
* Income $195! and no one has joined my MLM yet. (The key here is to make money by having leads pay for themselves.)

Although this is not a formal review of The Power Prospecting System, this is evidence enough that this system works. It is supposed to generate quality leads and it did. 30 days ago, I would have had to go out and talk to everyone I came into contact with, withstand the rejection and then convince them to join my business.

Instead, I now have 88 people who CAME TO ME, are in my system and that I can market to about my MLM business or whatever else I choose forever. Wow!

This system is highly recommended!

There is one key to success in network marketing online or
off that I don’t think gets enough consideration or focus
and yet it’s something that I’ve found is paramount to just
about everything else that you do in your business.

It’s a crazy and confusing world out there and if you allow
yourself to get caught up in it it can really kill your
business and your dreams.

Here’s how to make sure that doesn’t happen to you.

Simply choose one business that fits you and your needs and
stick to it until you succeed.

If there’s one key to success in network marketing that
overrides all else it’s that.

Online you hear people proclaiming multiple streams of
income is the path to glory and freedom and they suggest you
should never just focus your efforts on ONE business.

Interestingly enough, I’ve found success working from the
complete opposite paradigm. The second I found the business
that was perfect for me and my needs I put and continue to
put all that I have into it.

In the last 15 months I’ve never even considered the mutual
fund approach to marketing business opportunities online and
it hasn’t hurt me one bit.

Why?

Well here’s what you may miss you when you consider the
multiple streams of income approach to your online business
ventures . . .

Those that come after you will do what you do.

If you don’t have the courage to put all your eggs in one
basket and stick out the initial growth process and focus
all your efforts to it in one business then neither will
anyone else you influence.

Remember network marketing is a long term approach to
independence.

You put in the work now so five years down the line you
NEVER have to again.

Well …

When you are constantly changing directions and starting in
new businesses every 3 months you rob yourself of the
ability to build that crucial foundation that true long
lasting wealth and success is built on.

Network marketing is not a process of building based on hype
and the next and best thing to come out. It’s a process of
building based creating tight knit groups and relationships
that can and will last a lifetime if true care and
consideration is put into the process.

The mutual fund approach may make you some small checks in
the short run, but it most certainly will rob you of the
HUGE and life changing checks in the long run.

So it’s a question of what you’re after in your business
building – true wealth or transient income.

I know what I’m in it for.

I was reading something today from a gentleman, Bryan Todd, who is a mentor of mine. I thought it was interesting and wanted to share it with you.

“You and I live in a world of gigantic, institutional corporate machines. Our educational systems, the jobs we’ve worked at (and been fired from), the political organizations that dictate who our leaders are – are all impersonal people-mills, designed for somebody else’s benefit, somebody else’s profit.

Hence the 8-5 punch-clocks, the dress codes, the 700-page policy manuals, the institutional corporate speak, the endless rules and memos, the saccharin performance reviews, the cutbacks, the layoffs.

Other people who fit the mold nicely, do well.

And when you or I don’t fit in, we get punished.”

If you truly have the desire to be a successful entrepreneur, this hits home with you..it sure did for me and how true it is.

I have heard it so many times before…”always track your marketing.” Today I was working with my Pay per click campaign and I am so glad I listened. When you track your performance, you know where adjustments need to be made. If you get lazy in this area, then it’s pretty much a waste of your time to even market.

The good thing about our marketing system is that a campaign tracker is already included. So all you have to do is label your campaign, a link is generated for you and then you just use that link in that particular advertisement. Simple as pie.

Systems sure do make life and business easier. Whew!
