Why Buying MLM Leads Isn’t Good for You

(Feel free to add this content to your site. Just keep the resource box intact.)

In the past, buying MLM leads might have been a strategic move on your part but not anymore. Here are a few reasons why buying them can only be a waste of your hard-earned money.

Quality
You can never be sure of the quality of lists of MLM leads these days. Even if they come with seemingly iron-clad guarantees of high quality, there’s really no way to be sure until you’ve paid the full amount for it and you get your hands on the actual list. But if it turns out to be opposite of what you’ve been promised, there may not be a way to get a refund for your money.

There are people out there deliberately composing unauthentic lists of MLM leads and then using clever ploys to misrepresent them. If you have the misfortune of becoming one of their victims, you could, of course, report them to the likes of the Federal Trade Commission or the Better Business Bureau. But whether you’ll get your money back or not is very much in doubt.

Lastly, what could be a list of high quality MLM leads for one may not be for you. Remember: the best leads are not simply made of people with keen interest in building a network marketing business but one with the huge potential to benefit from the products or services you’re selling as well.

Distribution
Another bad thing about lists of MLM leads is the sheer number of ways they’re being distributed. Even if the list did start out to be a high quality one, these are distributed and made use of so quickly that by the time it’s reached you, the list might have been read and used by hundreds of network marketers before you. As such, there’s no point contacting these leads because they’re probably drowning already with the massive amount of MLM offers they’ve received in their inbox.

Personal Connection
Finally, even genuine lists of high quality MLM leads can’t instantly guarantee success. One reason for this is the lack of connection between you and your MLM prospect. Relationships are more easily built when there is honesty and connection right from the start. It’s easier to speak with an MLM prospect if you used your own skills to find out whether he makes a good lead or not.

Imagine how your MLM prospect would feel when he finds out you’ve gotten his name from a paid list. Sure, you can always lie about it, but surely you know how shaky the foundations of dishonest relationships are, don’t you?

Personal Fulfillment
Lastly, the sense of fulfillment you can experience will be much greater if you know it was on your own efforts you were able to generate leads and successfully turned them into full-fledged recruits for your MLM business.

Relying on your own efforts for generating leads is also a good way of training yourself not to take ill-advised shortcuts like get-rich-quick schemes that are doomed to fail and, yes, MLM lists of questionable quality.

Multi level marketing is a great industry to work in, but it has a larger number of pitfalls than other types of businesses. There are more ways for you to fail in MLM and relying on paid MLM lists is just one of them. If you want to survive longer, stay away from these lists.

5 Tips on How to Succeed in Internet Network Marketing

(Feel free to add this content to your site. Just keep the resource box intact.)

The road to success in Internet network marketing is quick and easy, but only if you know what to do. Here are a couple of tips to get you started.

Learn How to Write Search Engine Optimized Articles

Article marketing has long been used to promote websites, and now, network marketing experts have been able to use it to promote their businesses as well. To effectively use article marketing for your network marketing business, start by determining which topics would generate the most interest from your target. These topics must, of course, be something you can directly connect to network marketing in the end and, hopefully, convince your readers to give your business a try.

Learn How to Use Autoresponders

Never let an opportunity pass you by. With so many network marketers around, it’s virtually impossible to get a second chance from prospects you’ve let go. Autoresponders, however, can easily prevent that from occurring. Not only that but autoresponders can also build and strengthen customer loyalty.

It’s best to use a separate autoresponder for every reply category you expect to receive. Use one autoresponder, for instance, to reply to inquiries about your network marketing business while use another autoresponder to attend to complaints any of your downlines sends to you.

Learn How to Make Podcasts for Your Network

In network marketing, being the first – or at least one of the first – always pays. Podcast marketing has been used for a few years already, but there’s still not a lot of people who have been able to catch up. You, however, have the opportunity to make use of podcast marketing for your business.

Creating podcasts is quite different from doing other types of ads. Yes, keywords and value of content are still important, but that’s where the similarity ends. In podcasts, audio quality is naturally important. You need to choose the right person for the job – one with ideal voice modulation and diction. You also need to pay strict attention to timing. Ads have to be short but detailed and they have to be strategically timed to play and ensure that listeners won’t be skipped.

Learn How to Use Pay Per Play Advertising

Another new advertising trend that you should embrace is PPP or pay per play advertising. Create an audio ad. If you’ve already created one for your podcast, such ads are usually usable for PPP as well. Next, make sure that your PPP ad service company has targeted the right websites for your ads.

Your ad will play every time your visitor loads a new page. If you have more than one ad, the second ad will only play if the visitor has stayed for a certain amount of time in the same page. The way PPP advertising is designed makes it one of the least inconvenient types of ads to visitors, and that’s always a good thing for people wishing to promote their business.

Improve Email Marketing Techniques

Email today is considered one of the best and most widely used modes of communication today. Most people check their emails regularly, and with the right headline, you can make your unsolicited email the equivalent to a cold call, one that has better chances to be welcomed more warmly.

With these strategies, you can be sure that your business will greatly benefit from Internet network marketing!

Why Traditional Network Marketing is No Longer Effective

(Feel free to add this content to your site. Just keep the resource box intact.)

Yes, there is still an opportunity to enjoy huge passive income from MLM, but there’s a catch: if the strategies you’re familiar with are of the traditional network marketing variety, your efforts are doomed to fail. If you want to make money in MLM today, it’s time to go back to “school” and learn why what was effective yesterday is no longer useful today.

Aggressiveness is a Turn-Off

Politeness was one of the strict requirements of society in the old days, but it was a rule that network marketers ruthlessly exploited. In traditional network marketing, marketers were extremely aggressive and took advantage of other people’s disinclination to appear rude. They exerted pressure of all kinds until they were able to get what they wanted.

But that no longer works. Now, people are smarter and certainly more open about saying what they want to say. People don’t hesitate to reject offers outright if they don’t like what they’re hearing and more often than not, that’s certainly the case with network marketing.

If you believed aggressiveness could still help you earn money from network marketing, you’re in for a rude surprise.

Constant Traveling

Network marketing used to demand people to lead transient lives. For someone to make a living from network marketing, he had to be able and willing to travel to all sorts of places just to find prospects and hopefully turn them into recruits.

This was indeed a necessity in the past, but only because most of the network marketing companies that favored this strategy weren’t selling anything original or desirable to the market. They needed a new location and a new market because people there weren’t yet wise to what they were doing. Constant traveling was necessary because once people caught up to what they were doing, network marketers had to hit the road once more.

The blame, of course, lies not in hapless network marketers doing their jobs but in the companies itself, for making their affiliates believe that they’re truly selling something desirable.
Thankfully, however, new companies today come with a stronger sense of ethics and nicer products and services to sell.

Exploitation of Personal Relationships

Traditional network marketing trained individuals to believe that their families, friends, and loved ones would help them achieve their goals. Some companies may have led their affiliates to believe that it is their loved ones’ duty to help them. Other companies might have taken the slightly higher road by making them falsely believe that they were simply sharing a golden opportunity with their loved ones.
What none of them taught their affiliates was that it takes more than blood to make a person qualified for network marketing success.

Today’s brand of network marketing explicitly warns people from approaching their personal network unless they’re convinced that they, too, have the necessary KSA’s for the job. Traditional network marketing was all about finding any person willing to pay the membership fee. Modern network marketing, however, is all about finding the right person for the business.

Person to Person Marketing and Cold Calls versus Internet Marketing

Finally, traditional network marketing was founded on two essential things: meeting prospects in person and making cold calls. Such methods, however, can be costly and quite frankly, ineffective as well. That’s why today’s network marketing companies have turned to online marketing.

Thanks to the Internet, network marketing is virtually cost-free but able to generate almost instant results.

Network Marketing Failure-Why So Many Fail

(Feel free to add this content to your site. Just keep the resource box intact.)

Network marketing is perhaps the newest and most sought after business or industry these days. With the advent of the cyber or internet age, it didn’t take entrepreneurs long enough to realize the huge income potential of this newfound “connectedness”.

The joys of being able to reach out to family and friends from anywhere in the world or send messages to thousands people at the same time, without incurring huge costs, and taking weeks to arrive heralded the beginning of network marketing businesses. Almost instantly too, there emerged network marketing gurus who sold books, tapes, videos and what-have-you’s to potential business people who were hoping to cash in on their share of the new gold-rush.

The sales slogan, “if we can make money - so can you” has motivated thousands upon thousands to quit their day jobs and explore the online jungle of network marketing. Of course there are those who truly succeeded. And there are real network marketing experts who offer sound advice and sincerely share the best practices and strategies they have gathered through the years.

As in any business, network marketing is also trial and error. And while the figures are attractive and the growth potential seems unending, there are a significant number of too, who after venturing into the network marketing business, find themselves not even close to achieving the promised sales or profit figures. So before you plunge head first into the network marketing industry, here are some things you should know to keep yourself for landing behind-first on the pavement.

How To Fail at the Network Marketing Business:

F - is for foresight. If you’re jumping into network marketing just because you heard it’s the next best thing since sliced bread, you’re definitely headed for a major disappointment. People who just want to ride along a certain businesses’ popularity have very little chances of making it.

For one, competition in the network marketing biz is very tough. You’ll only succeed if you find a way to promote your business and prove that you’re not another run of the mill company on the lookout for customers online. You must research, plan, strategize, and have a solid business plan replete with targets, deadlines and strategies. Knowledge is indeed power, and in this case, you should have a thorough understanding of what you’re getting into- including the not-so-rosy aspects of running a network marketing business.

A - is for action and attitude. Most network marketing companies operate from the comforts of the business owners’ home computer. One of the dangers of working from home is becoming lazy and distracted, especially for people who have only recently enjoyed the freedom of owning their own hours.
People fail because they’re work attitudes are flawed or, because despite having a sound network marketing business plan - they sorely lack action.

I - is for investment and initiative. You need resources to get any business up and running. The good thing about network marketing is that you don’t need an astronomical figure to start a business. Still, investment may also mean investing on learning materials like books and videos, or spending on marketing and advertising.

Bottom-line is, you need to set aside a sensible amount of money to help promote your business. And that’s where initiative also comes in. Since you’re working from home and this is your very own business - there’s no one else around to tell you how to run things. It’s all up to you how fast you want the business to grow - if you want it aggressively, then you must act accordingly.

L- is for love for the business. As cliche’ as this sounds, the people who are more likely to fail in a network marketing business are those who went in without really liking it. It may have been the appeal of instant money, or the freedom of working at your own hours - but the fact remains that if you don’t genuinely love what you are doing day in and day out - it would reflect on your output.

Think long and hard before starting any business. If you feel that your heart is not truly in it, don’t bother. It will only be an exercise in futility.

Network Marketing Success–How To Get It

(Feel free to add this content to your site. Just keep the resource box intact.)

The boom of the Internet has heralded a plethora of new business ventures that take advantage of the technology. With virtually the entire world connected, budding entrepreneurs have taken the challenge of becoming visible in the online industry. This has resulted in the overall expansion of the Internet not just as a communication hub, but also as a global virtual real estate for millions of people.

This, however, comes as both a good thing, and a bad thing: while the space is fertile for
new businesses, there also stands the fact that countless startup corporations have dwindled in between mediocrity and near-invisibility, until they find themselves completely shutting down. This is because the vast number of people trying to start online businesses has made it almost impossible for anyone to take on the discriminating and unforgiving Internet market.

Despite this, there are a few tips that have been proven helpful for anyone willing to take the risks involved. With any business in need of marketing strategies, the tricky and more complicated nature of online entrepreneurship calls for the same kind of requirements, with almost the same kind of attitude.

One thing to remember is that persistence is always the way to go, in any venture one may take. Whether it is something as small as getting the perfect domain name, or pushing for wider advertising exposure, any individual who wants to make it in the online business knows that the true end comes when one gives up. This attitude has worked very well for those who were willing to stick with their company: 95% of those who stood by their brand for at least 10 years ultimately reached the highest payoffs in terms of their corporate compensation.

Persistence also works to encourage a passion for corporate growth - that which is needed most for a company to experience expansion.

Individuals willing to spend incredible amounts of time, energy, and faith in their company will eventually find themselves with a drive to expand in terms of marketing strategies. Those people would jump at the chance to produce extra advertising opportunities, whether it be through the usual advertising techniques, or simply word of mouth. Whichever it may be, the businessman will always find a way to open new doors through which the corporation may go.

Of course, persistence and marketing drive, when put together, results in an individual who continues to network for the company, never skipping any possible opportunity. Something as simple as keeping tabs of past and present contacts can be extraordinarily helpful, as these people would form the base crowd for primary advertising. Other networking strategies would include starting a mailing list, under which would be the collected contacts.

It would also do one well to categorize these contacts in terms of the effects they would have on the company, such as the heavy hitters and the possible major influences for corporate growth.
Finally, an entrepreneur must continually educate himself: learn more about the industry, as well as the significance the company has on it. This would further clue one in on the company’s real value as an Internet corporation, and as a general businessperson.

Of course, there are numerous more pieces of advice that may be given to anyone planning to join the online rat race. But collectively and individually, these tips have served people well in the past, and there is no reason to expect any different today. One merely needs to put them into practice, and learn from them while perhaps educating others about the ins and outs of the online business.

Forget About The Losers-Focus On The Winners!

I got an audio postcard today from my mentor, Daegan Smith. He was answering the question from a woman who was not getting any results passing out business cards and talking to people about her business.

We have definitely all been there…at least I have!

After his explanation of why she is not getting the results she so desires, he told her to think about WHY she joined that business and what interested her. Her job at this point is to locate people with those same interests.

From there, he told her to:
“forget about the losers who are not interested and focus on the winners who are!”

If you are also still wondering why things aren’t picking up for you or why nobody seems interested in what you have to offer, think about the same idea of locating people who want and are interested in what you have.

At that point, you won’t be able to slow down the flood of people wanting to join you!

Help and Be Helped! Thanks Karl!

Here is what Karl Auerbach has to say about PPS and how it is helping him!

More Power Prospecting System Results!

June was a great month! I wanted to share with you the results, the actual results, that I received from using PPS to generate leads and income. Awesome stuff!

And remember, this is just from the month of JUNE.

# of clicks: 3733
# of leads: 163
# of ebook sales: 5
# of memberships: 6

So, we have a 4% conversion rate from traffic to lead (which is down from last months results), a 3% conversion rate from lead to sale and a 3.6% conversion rate from lead to PPS member.

Not bad numbers when you look at the fact that I grew my list by 163 more opt-ins and still made money from the sales and memberships!

AND, 3 out of the last 20 opt-ins, also joined my business!!

The best part about all of this, is that I did it using all FREE traffic generation methods that I learned by being part of PPS!

If there is anything I can do to help you get your marketing off the ground..just let me know!

Magnetic Sponsoring vs. Power Prospecting System

(Feel free to add this content to your site. Just keep the resource box intact.)

Lead generation is one of the most important elements of network marketing success. To earn more money, you need a lead generation system that can consistently provide you with high quality leads even without your supervision. When looking for an effective lead generation system, most people’s choices boil down to two things: magnetic sponsoring and power prospecting system. Let’s see which one’s better.

The Funded Proposal Model
Both lead generation systems, Magnetic Sponsoring and Power Prospecting System or PPS, make use of the funded proposal model. This is a relatively new trend in network marketing, one that pays you upfront and certainly enough to cover initial expenses as you build your network. This, however, is where the similarity between both systems ends.

What is Magnetic Sponsoring?
This particular lead generation system is credited to Mike Dillard. His system mainly focuses on the basic needs of prospects. It is best explained by a quote from Perry Marshall, who goes on saying that people shopping for drills didn’t actually want a drill. What they really wanted was a hole and in order to sell drills, he advised people to advertise about making holes and not drills. Simply put, magnetic sponsoring requires users to underline the demands or needs that are driving people to purchase something rather than focus primarily on the products or services being sold.

What is Power Prospecting?
In a sense, power prospecting is similar to magnetic sponsoring as it teaches the same lessons that the other lead generation system does. What makes power prospecting system different, however, is the fact that it doesn’t stop there.

With PPS, users are guided throughout the way. Users aren’t told what to do. Rather, they’re shown what to do in a detailed step-by-step explanation because the system was designed not just to generate leads but to ensure that you build your network marketing business properly right from the start.

Power Prospecting versus Magnetic Sponsoring
Here are a couple of things that you can enjoy from PPS but not from magnetic sponsoring.

Comprehensive Training
Power prospecting system is designed to train individuals in all important aspects of network marketing. You are shown how to make effective audio and video marketing presentations for the benefit of your customers and prospects alike. You are also given extensive Internet marketing training, including effective strategies to make your solo PPC ad stand out. Finally, live training is also given to ensure that you’re ready to tackle any challenge you may encounter in the course of doing business.

Total Lead Control
The power prospecting system isn’t designed to make you a figurehead and put someone else in control. PPS is all about putting you in complete control of your network right from the start. PPS will help you personalize all your electronic correspondence with your prospects. An email broadcast feature is also on hand to ensure that your network’s always easy to contact whenever necessary.

With PPS, everything is branded with your name and not anyone else’s.

Tracking
Daegan Smith, the creator of the power prospecting system, understands the need for monitoring and evaluation. That’s why he included a tracking feature in the system. With it, users can determine how each and every technique they’ve used is progressing and modify whatever’s necessary.

Bonuses
Lastly, there are a lot of things to enjoy for free from the power prospecting system and you wouldn’t enjoy from magnetic sponsoring. This includes but isn’t limited to free ebooks, software programs, and even sample ads you can customize and use for your network marketing business.

With all these in mind, the answer as to which is better between the two is already obvious, isn’t it?
