WELL ALMOST!! Wednesday Feb 24th 2010 is the Official Launch Date!

When I first began this journey of creating Be Blog Savvy (BBS), I honestly didn’t know where to begin. I had so many ideas in my head that it was difficult to get them out in an organized fashion.

I paced the room for hours at a time with a pad and a pen in my hand writing out thoughts, names, angles, content, etc. I even completed like 5 darn outlines that all ended up getting trashed! I went to the bookstore and to the library to see what was already out in the market so that I could at least have some uniqueness to my product. Boy, this stuff was driving me NUTS! :)

I had my mentors reiterating that this had to get done..and in fact that it should have already been done. (Was I getting scolded? Kinda? LOL) From Daegan Smith to Cedrick Harris, “When is that product gonna be ready?” was their favorite question. The pressure was on, but like Kobe in an NBA Championship game..I had to step up and pull through!

Over the last 90 days, there were some “candlelit” nights as I worked into the dawn and there were some 24 hour nights as well. I mean I wanted this to be right, not some half-behind product that I just threw up there to make a couple dollars! Many times my husband went neglected which isn’t good, but thank goodness he too is an entrepreneur and didn’t raise any hell with me! :) In fact, he supported me from beginning to end.

But I want you to keep in mind..I am a full-time network marketer FIRST, not a full time blogger. Blogging is a SKILL that I picked up on and taught myself because it tied in with my core competency. The reality is that Network Marketing is really the focus of my business and to be honest, this project was starting to take up all of my time. I started to lose focus and I was NOT being as organized as I normally was.

So things had to change…

I decided to put myself on a BBS schedule, on a primary business schedule, and on a MLSP schedule. I created it and I followed it precisely. The end result was that I managed to complete BBS, remain competitive on the MLSP leader-boards and maintain a solid foundation with my team in my primary business, all at the same time. When I look back I literally have to ask myself, “How in the world did you get that done?”

But all this to say, I put everything I had into this course because I believe in the power of blogging to grow ANY business, whether it is in the Network Marketing industry or not. I wanted to share with every BBS member how to create their OWN hub that could catapult them into the authority and expert in their field, from an online perspective.

My goal was to make it as if you were sitting with me in my office, everyday, with the ability to look over my shoulder and see every click, every mouse move and every copy and paste. Several times a day, people ask me questions about blogs and I wanted to give all the answers to all the questions I get, but put them in a place where anyone who desired the information could go and get it.

The time has come for MY very first product to hit the market like the CD of a new recording artist hits the streets! I can’t even begin to explain to you how exciting this is and to have so much support ranging from my MLSP family to my colleagues on Facebook and twitter to my immediate family like my husband, my parents and my BFF!

I guess I could go on and on about this period in my life as I enjoy the moment..but I won’t do that to you. Instead, I would just like to say thank you to all of my subscribers and those of you who contribute to MY blog and have helped it to grow as it has (18,250 documented visitors last month-January).

Lastly, I would like to share this. If you follow the course as I have laid it out for you in BBS, you too can have a blog that will Rock! I know that for some, it may seem so far off in the distance to have a blog you love, and I know that not knowing exactly what to do can feel like you are in complete darkness. But if you can play the simple game of Follow The Leader, then I KNOW Be Blog Savvy can be your light!
