This past weekend, was by far one of the most enlightening and rewarding times I have ever had in my life. Like you, I have been to trainings and seminars and webinars and conferences time and time again. However, this training had nothing to do with strategy, marketing techniques or underground information. This past weekend was all about me helping me to become a better ME, by participating in MVP’s Discovery Training 2010.
All my life, all I can ever remember wanting to do was be around people who were fun, adventurous and wealthy!! And over this past year that is all I have been immersed in. How grateful I am for that.
But the one thing that I thought would come to me, some other kind of way, as most of us do when it comes to recognizing blessings (or the lack of recognition thereof) is my relationship with multi-millionaire mentors. See, I’ve understood for quite sometime, that to get where you want to go, you should ask someone whose already been there. And all has lined up perfectly in my world to help me reach my goal.

I, like so many other business owners have struggled with this on very simple concept: Time Management. SO much to do, so little time, right? Well, as you learn to let go, and plan out your day, as opposed to your day planning you, you’ll be able to hang out in the pool, make money on auto-pilot and still be on top of your game. Well, almost! LOL What I really mean is that sometimes, after you have worked your butt off, you must relax and have fun and create a “no-work” zone for yourself, and as you can see in my picture on this post, I have been having some relaxation time!
I will be the first to admit, however, that I am a recovering workaholic, and that what I did and how I did it in the beginning is not recommended. But then again you must assess your situation before you judge! See, when I first got started online, I HAD to make this work. The bills needed to be paid and I could not take from our real estate business funds to get it done.
This past week, the top producers in MLSP were kidnapped and taken on an “almost-all” expense paid retreat (we only had to pay our airfare) to the mountains…specifically Todd’s Chalet! (Nic, that was for you, lol)
We arrived on Monday with so much excitement and on Tuesday we went snowmobiling. Now if you have never been snowmobiling before, it is off the hook! This was my first time and to be honest, I was a little nervous (as we all usually are when it comes to stepping out our comfort zones). Yet, I was rared up and ready to go!
While in Dallas, TX at the 2010 More Heart Than Talent conference, I had the opportunity to meet several online marketers, offline marketers..who are mainly all network marketers building organizations and thriving sales forces.
The key factor is that while most attend events and never get to meet or connect with the “top earners”…I make it a point to..in a unique way..and not by using the usual groupie style I’ve seen far too often.
In this particular case I want to share a story with you that I will probably never forget….
I was at the MLM Lead System Pro table, where I had the distinct privilege of offering/selling my book: The Power of Leadership. After making sales and talking to several people, this one guy in a baseball cap and a cool biker jacket walked up to the table.
