I believe the biggest challenge faced by people today is the overwhelming negativity in the media. I was watching the news one morning and counted numerous deaths, tragedy, collapsing economy. Then I thought to myself, why am I feeding my brain this garbage. Turned off the TV and I have not watched the news in months. A majority of people start their day with this negativity and end up only remembering and re-enforcing this type of behavior. Thus we develop the woe is me syndrome. The "remember when" philosophy of visualization is an excellent way to overcome this garbage. That and turn off all the mediums that can only bring you down. Could not agree with you and Bonnie more.
