Still Buying MLM Leads?
This morning, I was having a conversation with a close relative who is also in MLM. He was telling me how he really enjoys our training and mentoring sessions and wanted to use the system with the leads that he BUYS! WHoaaaa! Stop the presses! He still desires to buy leads?
Friends, here is the problem with buying leads and I really want you to wrap this around your brain. It’s critical.
When you buy a lead, regardless of the source, the prospect has NOT taken any sort of action. They have not indicated that they are even remotely serious. All they did was fill out an online form. No big deal to them. These prospects mainly are kicking tires, looking to see what’s out there and actually not even willing to move in the direction of becoming a business owner. That makes you find ways to “sell” them, which we all know is not what network marketing is about.
However, once you learn how to generate your own leads, through a simple simple system, your prospects will come to you only after taking a specific action and requesting to know more. Now your job is that of a consultant. Now you are in a position to help this person. Now you are networking with someone who wants your help to achieve the success they desire.
Do you see the difference? Buying leads makes you “sell” people which doesn’t work and can not be duplicated. Generating your own leads allow you to help people who have already raised their hand. That type of system can be duplicated.
Moral of the story…Stop buying leads! They are not helping you, they’re just costing you!
