So let’s keep this post short and sweet.

If you plan on reaching your goals, whatever they may be, please understand it ain’t gonna be a walk in the park.

You will need to struggle for a bit until you get over the learning curve. You will lose money here and there until you figure out where to get the best return on your investment. You will have to work longer and step out of your comfort zone until your new environment becomes the new comfort zone.

You will have to be in charge of yourself. You will have to figure things out on your own and it may get lonely sometimes. You may even feel like you are not making progress, but you are. That’s just how the universe works..When you put focused, thought and energy on a thing, you will grow in that area…

So long story short..Man Up! And for my ladies Woman Up!

It’s your life and your business, what are YOU going to do about it..cause no one else cares more about your success than YOU!

Make it Happen!

It is early Monday morning and I was just thinking about the many conversations I have had over the weekend with networkers really looking for success. And here’s what I learned.

Some people want the success, but want it handed to them on a silver platter. With all the bells and whistles. They want it without really having the desire to work for it. I don’t fully understand this train of thought so it is difficult for me to address. For example, there are people who have literally said to me that they want to quit their J-O-B’s and want to do it in 6-9 months, but then turn around and say that they don’t know if they have the time to complete the necessary tasks to ensure that desire. A bit of an oxymoron to me!

Now, there are others who say they want success and they make the time to read, study, and listen to every conference call/webinar. Yet, something happens where they never take action. Excuses are part of their everyday conversation. No progress is ever made, and then they say that the business isn’t working for them. Huh? Let’s see, if you say you want to be a gold medalist runner, go to the gym, watch other people run, learn the techniques from the sideline, but never get out on the track yourself to run and practice and improve, are you deserving of a gold medal? Can you say that the olympics is not working?

Lastly there are those rare few that not only say they want success, but stumble actively along the road of improvement, perseverance and commitment. These rare few work long hours at the job and then come home to tend to family and yet burn the midnight oil to take another step forward in their online business. These types always have time…because they make the time. This breed doesn’t complain about what didn’t work this time because they spend their time looking for ways to make it work next time. These are the stars, these are the Rhinos in the jungle, these are the people just like me!

So as you proceed with your business, ask yourself, “am I really willing to do ALL that I can to succeed? Do I really want to enjoy my life being free from the corporate slavery? Am I equipped to handle the downfalls as well as the great achievements that will come on my journey? Is it totally worth it to me to go out, create my own future and live life experiencing all the abundance that is here to partake in? Is it worth it to me to work extra hard everyday for the next year to NEVER have to worry about bills, lack of time or family neglect again?

Well if you are anything like me, your answer to all those questions is a big fat YES!

If you are fighting the battle of fear, procrastination, doubt, etc…get that out of your psyche. Someone, somewhere, has put that in your mind and now you and your life is suffering as a result of it. Unnecessarily! Get on the right foot. Not only learn what works, but DO what works. Practice what you read and hear, don’t just read and hear it! Be an active marketer, not one that sits back hoping a check will fall in your lap.

Go out and GET what you deserve….and that is…MASSIVE SUCCESS!

(ok, I guess I’m off my soapbox for today, LOL!)

As you already know, branding yourself is a critical factor in your online network marketing business. Keep in mind though, that branding takes time. If you remain dedicated to your business and to yourself, branding will come in due time.

Don’t forget to be yourself, no one wants to work with phony people. Share your real experiences and accomplishments. Share your failures and your lessons. You will only be appreciated and viewed as a real person who cares.

Remember, as Zig Ziglar says, people don’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care. So, as you work on your personal branding, include the caring factor by giving value away and not always trying to sell something right away. Allow people to get to know you and you will start to see the sign-ups in your business increase exponentially.

Use and implement these concepts starting today…don’t delay, your livelihood depends on it.

Today I was sitting back thinking about the process one seems to go through before success is achieved in MLM. What I came up with is that you must go backwards before you go forwards.

You have to join the company, fail, research ways to succeed, discover a marketing system, learn to market, find the prospects…which is the opposite from the way it SHOULD happen.

Wouldn’t your life be easier if after you joined the company you were taught how to find prospects, then learn to market to them using a marketing system and be learning how to improve and succeed all the way through?
