Well, almost! LOL What I really mean is that sometimes, after you have worked your butt off, you must relax and have fun and create a “no-work” zone for yourself, and as you can see in my picture on this post, I have been having some relaxation time!

I will be the first to admit, however, that I am a recovering workaholic, and that what I did and how I did it in the beginning is not recommended. But then again you must assess your situation before you judge! See, when I first got started online, I HAD to make this work. The bills needed to be paid and I could not take from our real estate business funds to get it done.

So basically, I was broke!

See to me, broke means when what you have can’t contribute to your life’s necessities. So although we had money…is was already allocated to keeping the business afloat. I had to make my online business support itself, as a business should anyway!

So after almost 2 years of working to the bone, not going out, not hanging with my friends, not even talking to them (lol), after not leaving my house sometimes for 3-4 days at a time, after numerous 24-hr days of work, after all the sleepless nights, after all the tears (literally), after all the fights with my husband about money…after it all, I can honestly say I wouldn’t change one thing!

Why?

Because it made me who I am today. It developed my character even more. It proved my resilience and my determination. See, “IT” was my path! Just like you have your path.

So remember, when times get tough and you can’t figure it out…figure it out!
When it’s getting late and your programming tells you it’s not worth staying up all night because you have to be at work in the morning…stay up anyway!
When your head begins to hurt and you feel like you are missing out on life…keep missing out on it (you’re just passing up all the stuff that probably could be done even better once you create the success you want)!

The point my friend is, don’t stop! Your path may not be my path. I can’t tell you how many times I look at people who I might consider to be further along than me and wonder what if..but I have to quickly correct my thinking and say, my path is my path and my scale of success cannot be measured by anyone else’s ruler.

So stay the course, continue to focus on your goals…and once you have gotten to an Oasis point where you have completed a job well done, “No-Work” is allowed! Go have some fun with your friends, like I did, and then get back on track!

I am so glad I put in the grind time…just continue to put in yours and I look forward to hearing more about your successes!
